 According to the urban dictionary:
Turn Up

1) Getting loose, being wild and potentially engaging in sexual activity with members of the opposite gender (or the same gender if thats what you're in to)
2) Acting crazy due to consumption of large amounts of alcohol, marijuana, molly or other drugs
Believe it or not I am a home body. I love staying at home and being with my family. If one of my close friends call and say let's hang out or come over Saturday and lets go out. I always reply lets just have a glass of wine at my house instead. I could blame it on me having the kids, marriage, or just being tired all the time but the truth is I just out grown it. I don't feel the need to be turnt up as if I was in college. I know I have grown to be "boring". I enjoy my book club, watching movies, hanging with my family, and making dinner from scratch. A regular day for me is running errands with my kids, blogging,  and art. I don't even listen to hard core rap anymore..... I mean I really love Corrine Bailey Rae.  I even turn the music down with my daughter turns it up in the car. So with all that said no wonder one of my good friends (J the Great) always, always text me just two words. Turn Up! He thinks I am extremely boring. Can't blame him because he is still in the party scene and it looks fun. But I just don't have the energy. I can only be Turnt up once a year and it's nothing like the definition above.
