Being a Stay at Home Mom

I am a stay at home mom if you did not know. And my day may consist of day to day things and a lot of random things. People who work may have the weekend off but me that's when I work over time. Due to the fact that we really depend on one income a lot of cost have to be cut down. I wash my own car, would never get a house keeper, forget getting a real tutor (sometimes we ask cousin Mahri to help in that department), do my own nails, my own facial, no budget for a barber, or hairstylist, cleaners are for once a year or holidays, most of the time we have home cooked meals, a lot of self education, a lot of low cost shopping, budgeting, PTA Mom, Booster Club Mom, seamstress, organizer, soccer mom, football mom, ballet mom,  crafter, and more. But with all that I get to pick my kids up from school, really get involved with their studies, be really in charge of their health, educate, know all their business and friends, entertain them, have time for them, less stress,  and get all the love I want and more. I wouldn't never trade any of this in for a paycheck.

  1. I feel you! I may not be a true stay at home mom, but I can't see myself going back to full time for anything! Definitely less stress

  2. If there were more moms like you in the world society would have less bullies, fewer stressed out kids, over weight and lost young people. Your children will Always have fond and loving memories of their childhood and will strive to be just like you when they grow up.

  3. I'm also a SAH/WAH mom for the past 5.5 years. I have to say I love it as I have some flexibility but with kids, u know, they are the ones that dictate your schedule. I just ran across your blog because your picture was featured in Deecoily's Pins. I love your hair by the way, it looks to be the same length and texture as mine.
